My before and after weight-loss photos…

I have 8 lbs to go to hit my 40 lb goal that I set at the end of February 2012. I’m almost there!!! So stoked about how all of this went down. Not nearly as hard as I thought it would be…. pays to have the right information and to study it out! I love FOOD! It is soooo powerful. Again, I am just eating smaller portions, very little dairy/meat/eggs and LOTS of fruits, veggies, beans, whole GRAINS, and only drinking water! I exercise 5-6 days a week for 30-45 mins. I sleep well, feel better about myself than I have in years and have more energy to “deal” with life than I have in years. And its crazy to be smaller than I was at age 16!!!! I have had to learn to admit I was an emotional eater- very attached to how I felt about food and how it made me feel (AKA comfort food…)- I had to admit I have had a sugar/weight issue since I was about 10 yrs old and LEARN TO DEAL with it- and I had to have a support system of family, my awesome husband, my kids, and my Heavenly support team. 🙂
