These groups were further tested 6 months later to assess their relapse rate.
Of those who took medication alone, it was 38% who slipped back into depression.
Those in the combo group, did only slightly better at 31% relapse rate.

Study after study after study is proving this my friends. Exercise is EFFECTIVE for depression! EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
If you are DEPRESSED, EXERCISE is a KEY element! And I must say…. that choosing to workout for 45 minutes a day, does a TON more for your body AND your mind than those meds will. I have SO many friends and family who take meds for depression and have gained weight and are MORE saddened at their state in life health wise because of the prescriptions. Please be wise in your choices. PLEASE be BRAVE! YOU CAN FIGHT depression. You can’t tell me that 45 minutes isn’t worth finding to improve your ENTIRE LIFE?!!?!?
